UPDATE Nov 30, 2012

Team,

As you all know, Areme is no longer with us.  Despite the way it may seem, the brevity of my comments on this are out of complete respect for her and the great affection I know she has for Helmet, me, and all of you.  We will miss her, and I won't pretend that any of us feel otherwise.  As far as I'm concerned, Areme is and will continue to be a friend of Helmet and hopefully our professional paths will cross again in the future.

Furthermore, we also wish Madison well as she continues her career beyond Helmet.

We are experiencing a season of change.  This can be very positive, especially if it means that people we care about can set about realizing their full potential, inside or outside of Helmet.

Now on to less somber subjects and please work with me to switch gears, as some mood-lightening is in order!

The push to improve professional standards this year could not have been done without everyone pulling together.  It has worked and it's continuing to work.  I hope you will let me thank you, because you have all earned it!  I look forward to seeing all of you hard-working, talented people in one room enjoying yourselves and one another's company. Please save the date: Sunday, Dec. 16, 7-10.  We will be having a Christmas party in the event space at Amsterdam Cafe.  Official invitations will be forthcoming, as well as information regarding bringing a guest or date.  I for one am looking forward to this.

Also, our product sales tip envelopes will be ready today/Friday.  Besides the usual cash, we will be including some "grand prize" tickets.  Here's how it works:  Every time you sell a product, you get to draw an envelope from a container at the front desk.  Some will have varying degrees of cash, from $1 to $50.  Others will have notes about prizes.  If you get a note, please text Michelle to tell her you got it and what it says.  We've been collecting goodies all year for this, so look for some professional tools as prizes, as well as unexpected twists and turns. We will try to keep it going all the way up to the Christmas party.

There will be a drawing, of course, at the Christmas party; and the room will be abuzz with anticipation.  Well, certainly abuzz.

That's all for now.

Many thanks,

Randy
